Airtel India has launched its own App Store. It gives:

• Users a single point of access from where they can download from a collection of mobile applications
• Developers a platform from where they can reach a wide spectrum of users

However, following questions are un-answered:

• How do the developers submit their applications?
• What are the various standards / filtering criteria used by Airtel?
• What is the revenue sharing agreement?

Overall, its a step in the right direction, but the information available is too limited.
